Sotiris Bampagiouris is CEO and co-founder of LOCAL FOOD EXPERTS® and Executive Director of SUSTAINABLE FOOD DESTINATION ORGANIZATION®, promoting locally based, self-reliant food economies. He connects organic, regenerative food production with sustainable tourism to build “Sustainable Food Destinations”. Trained in Agronomic Sciences (Crete) and ecological/biodynamic farming (France, USA), he co-founded BioForum SA and serves as Greece’s sub-representative in IFOAM.eu. Since 1997, he has developed projects linking land, gastronomy, and responsible hospitality across Crete.
