Nikolaos S. Thomaidis is a Professor of Analytical Chemistry at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and Vice-Chair of the University Administrative Council. He leads the TrAMS research group, focusing on advanced analytical methods using high-resolution mass spectrometry and chemometrics. His work emphasizes food authenticity, including the detection of fraud in products like olive oil, honey, wine, and dairy. He is a co-founder of the Track4Value initiative, developing solutions for food traceability. With over 460 publications, 20,000 citations, and an h-index of 81, he is a leading figure in his field.
