He was born and raised in a rural family in a small village in Chania. From an early age, working in agriculture and harvesting olives, along with the proximity of his home to an old olive mill, left lasting memories that inspire his professional career. He oversees the kitchens of two major hotels in the EM Resorts group in Chania. His culinary philosophy emphasizes love and dedication to local and Greek ingredients, with extra virgin olive oil always being central—whether in his recipes, cooking for family and friends, or as a gift to island visitors
