Fabiola Pulieri

Journalist, certified virgin olive oil taster and oil sommelier

She graduated in Law in Rome and practised as a lawyer for several years before moving to television, where she worked for twenty years in the editorial office and as a presenter on current affairs, cooking, medicine and health programmes. She is a certified virgin olive oil taster and oil sommelier. She is a journalist and communications expert, collaborates with various newspapers. Since 2019 in the Jury in the first National Competition for Olive Oil Tourism promoted by ANCO in Italy. In 2022 she received the award for “Communication and dissemination of evoo culture” during the EVOluzione event in Rome. A speaker and moderator at numerous conferences and seminars on olive oil tourism, new perspectives and territorial development. She has participated in several publications and is the author of the first book on olive oil tourism in Italy: ‘Oleotourism, opportunities for businesses and territories’, published in November 2022. In 2023 participated in the “Amerino Tipico”, project promoted by 11 municipalities along the Via Amerina in Umbria, on the development of the olive oil route as a tourist attraction. She is currently involved in communication, training and consultancy for the public and private sectors in the field of knowledge and dissemination of the culture of olive oil and the design of itineraries for olive oil tourism, local development and territorial marketing.
