Eleas Nisos Lesvos Association
The Cultural Association “Elaeas Nisos Lesvos” was founded in January 2020 to highlight the culture, history and contemporary expressions of the olive and olive oil. Through initiatives that connect tradition with innovation, the Association promotes the role of the olive in modern production, science, art and local development.
With a vision for the sustainable progress of Lesvos and Greece, the Association supports initiatives that link conference tourism, education, the primary sector and culture. The olive acts as a natural “ambassador,” promoting gastronomy, tourism and the economy, and creating new perspectives for the island and the country.
3rd International Olive Conference and Festival
Olive tourism is presented as a modern driver of growth, while gastronomy acts as the strongest global ambassador of Greek olive oil. The conference unfolds as a holistic experience that brings together culture, taste and ideas, highlighting the power of the olive as a shared heritage and an international meeting point.
Who Can Participate
The 3rd International Olive Conference and Festival is addressed to everyone who works in or is interested in the world of the olive: olive growers, millers, agronomists, environmental scientists, doctors and academics, nutritionists, food technologists, hospitality professionals, chefs and olive oil tasters, as well as tourism professionals. It is also open to all visitors who wish to explore the science, tradition and benefits of the olive and olive oil up close.
