Francisco Vañó, Founding Partner of Castillo de Canena Olive Juice Law Degree from the Complutense University of Madrid 1977-1982 and Management Development Program (PDD) by IESE (University of Navarra. Began his professional career in 1984 at the Banco Atlántico de Madrid. In 1985 he was transferred to Banco de Iberoamérica, in Panama where he remained for almost 4 years performing different
functions, the last of which as Deputy Director of the International Department. After holding several positions of responsibility in financial banking sector – the last years were in Santander Bank as Managing Director Head of the International Financial Institutions Department. In 2003, he founded Castillo de Canena Olive Juice together with his sister Rosa Vañó, positioning the brand as a reference of innovation and quality within the Premium olive oil market worldwide in short time. During these years running Castillo de Canena, Francisco Vañó has managed to consolidate the international expansion of the company, already available in more than 50 countries; a brilliant growth based on the high quality and prestige of its oils, validated with many national and international awards. Francisco Vañó is also President of Grandes Pagos del Olivar Association, Member of the Andalusian Gastronomy Academy, Councilor of Interoleo Picual S.A., President of the social council of the University of Jaén and Member of the Regulatory Council of the Protected Geographical Indication (IGP) Oil of Jaén.
