Evmorfia Karampournioti is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Marketing & Management, Leibniz University Hannover in Germany as well as owner of JON’S OILIVE.

With a strong academic background in marketing research and consumer neuroscience, she earned her PhD in 2020, where she focused on antecedents and consequences of consumers’ explicit and implicit perceptions and behaviors towards ethical consumption.

She mainly focuses on consumer neuroscience and the use of AI to explain (conscious and unconscious) mechanisms of consumer perception and decision making in several contexts such as olive oil choice, sustainable consumption, brand management etc. Her work is evidence-based, and she is dedicated to using science to inform business decision-making.
